David drives 168 miles a week for work. He fills his gas tank twice a week. Each fill up is for 12 gallons. Assuming he uses all of the gas each week and only uses the car to travel to and from work, what is the gas mileage of his car? (Gas mileage = miles/gallons)

hartnn (hartnn):

Mileage= total miles/total gallons in a unit time(say 1 week here). Total miles a week= 168 (given). Total gallons a week =2*12 because he fills twice a week and each fill=12 gallons. now can u find milage??
