American History: Can anyone tell me anything about the three original branches of the government? Like how they were first set up. I can not locate anything on the original, just how it is set up now. If you can provide where you got it from, that would be great too! Thanks!
How far back are you talking.?
When the Constitution was written they included all the current branches.. The executive was created by article II of the Constitution. The judicial branch was created by article III of the Constitution The legislative branch of US government is the US Congress, created by article I of the Constitution
The late 1700s. & Thanks !
Your school says there was different branches??
Well I'm doing a report & it in it says to include something about the three different branches
This is what it says exactly: Some things to think about are the powers of the federal government separated among three branches, the system of checks and balances, and the process by which bills become laws
Then yes, what i was saying is correct. The branches were created in and around 1803 (and maybe late 1700's like 1790) Check this out: http://regentsprep.org/regents/ushisgov/themes/government/3branches.htm
Okay, thank you so much! I really appreciate it :)
That will tell you everything the branches do, so i'd just reword it to make it your own ideas ;)
Your welcome!! :) It took me a while to think about it, your picture is distracting, it's just so cute.. And that girl is gorgeous too!
Haha, good luck with your report!
