As agriculture became well-established in the South, 1.planters built plantation schools to educate enslaved workers. 2.the South became too dependent on one crop, limiting development. 3.Southern whites began to doubt the benefits of slavery. 4.entrepreneurs built new factories to meet rising consumer demand.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well start by crossing off the ones that aren't right. Which ones do you think those are?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's not 1, they wouldn't want to waste money, its not 3, why would the doubt slavery if agriculture was well-established and working for them? It's either 2 or 4. Which do you think?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Everything was booming, causing more things to be needed to keep up with the surge in our growing country, so business men would invest in farms by making a nice new factory to help increase output.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm assuming you're from connections, right? I had the same question on the test today, too. You realize your books are online too.. right? If you click the link in the lesson it takes you to an online version of the History book. If you read that, you wouldn't have to ask for the answers on the test, and you actually learn.
