If all three sides are in the same ratio with the other triangle's sides, then it is similar.
i.e.:\[\frac{12}{8}=\frac{7.5}{5}\]
What theorem or postulate you think it would be?
The one that says 'If all of triangle A's sides are in the same proportion to each of the matching sides of triangle B, A and B are similar' You could probably derive that from more fundamental principals.

Yes, as therefore all the angles are forced into being the same.
