Can someone tell me the basic customs and courtesies of the middle east? Or do they all have a different culture in each country there? Thanks much appreciated.

it is different in each country but in some countries a lot of them are the same, in most middle east countries where muslim is the main religon women have to hide there faces with shawls and scarfs, and can only go outside if accompianed by a male relative or their husband. also in many of the countries bowing is a sign of respect instead of shaking hands, shaking hands is usually only used betwen men durring business
