2 feet per second is how many feet per minute? Do this first. So: 2 ft/ sec = x ft / min multiply by 60. So it is 120 ft/min. Now convert to feet per hour. Multiply by 60 again. 120 x 60 = 7200 7200 ft / hour. NOW convert feet to miles. 7200 feet = 1.36364 miles SO 1.36 miles per hour
