Find all the zeros of the function and write the polynomial as a product of linear factors. h(x)=x^2 -4x +1 Walkthrough please?

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

Are you familiar with quadratic formula?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes. I have to use that?

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

I prefer using it. Less headache. ;)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Haha, okay, this method would make more sense considering the answer I am given. I'll try using that. Thanks!

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

Best of luck. Welcome.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, I tried it and I still can't seem to get the answer. I got 2\[\pm \sqrt{6}\] and the answer should be 2\[\pm \sqrt{3}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Any ideas? @saifoo.khan

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x=2+sqrt 3 and 2-sqrt 3
