Tyler paid$124 to get his car fixed. The total cost for the repairs was the sum of the amount of paid parts and the amount paid for labor. tylerwas charged $76 for parts and $32 per hour for labor. Find the amount of time it took to repair his car.
So, $124-$76 = $48. So $48 is the cost of labor okay? Do you follow?
Yeah
So if he spent $48 and it cost $36 per hour. Heres how it would look: 36x = 48 so 48/36 = x so x = 1.33333333333 So, his car was worked on for 1.3 hours
Omg, everybody makes it seem easy, but when I do it...... It's hard! Thank you for your help. Do you mind helping me again?
