Okay let's get this straight.............. I need help!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Could you be more specific about what you need help with? I'm happy to take you through the steps of a specific problem, as long as I remember how to do it! :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

First how do you draw on this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Click "draw," and then a box will pop up with some drawing tools and a canvas space.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay.......I'm on an iPad right now so...... It's not letting me draw when I put my finger on it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hey......how do u draw?

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

we draw with the mouse after we click draw. I dont have an ipad but Im guessing it should work with what ever you use as a pointer. Also calm down:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay...... So since I can't draw can I explain the problem to you?

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

um depends on what is is? what do you need to draw?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh a rectangle for perimeter

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

you can just tell us the sides and lengths, widths, variables. Try in any way to put it in words, and we will ask question if we need to.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay.... P=26m (2x-6)m (x+3)

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

ok you need to solve for x and m?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes.

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

is m meters or a varialble?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

On 26m it's meters. But the m outside of the parenthesis is a variable

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

let l = length let w = width perimiter of a rectangle is 2l+2w so one equaion is 2l + 2w = 26 let l = (x+3) and w = (2x-6)m 2l+2w = 26 2(x+3)+2w(2x-6) = 26 with only this information we cant solve for x and m are you sure the other m is a variable?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hello?

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

hello?

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

I asked you a question

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

refresh I think
