in the diagram representing the standard model, is the strange quark placed over the charm quark or vice-versa and why?
In some reference books it is charm on the top whereas in some others it's the other way round. In Wikipedia it's charm on the top. What is correct and why?
If the charmed quark is listed higher it's probably just because it's heavier.
but that is not the way the top and the bottom or the up and the down quarks are listed. you know what what i mean, right?
charm , up , top and an electronic charge of 2/3 strange down and bottom have an electronic charge of -1/3
so you mean that charm would come over strange and the arrangement is based on the electronic charges of the quarks. correct?
Why its Paarth??
???
Parth is a name of another user and urs is Paa-rth
that's my name and the way i spell it and plz rply to question if you will..
@UnkleRhaukus you still following here?
if i was making a table i would group the the quarks with 2/3 charge together
well, so it would be safe to conclude that the decay processes or the mass does not have any role in determining the arrangement of the table and the schematic diagram on wikipedia is correct.!?
you can make all kinds of tables ,
