Jamal is a safety inspector for a family gym. Recently, guests have been complaining about the diving board saying that it is leaning towards the water. Jamal needs to know whether this diving board is standing up straight or not. Jamal measures the height of the diving board to be 12 feet. The pool is 15 feet across and he measures the diagonal from the other side of the pool to the top of the diving board to be 19 feet. Is the diving board at a 90 degree angle with the ground? Explain how you know.

could someone help me with this?
|dw:1346939009095:dw| 12^2+15^2=369 19^2=361 By the Pythagorean theorem, the angle is not 90 degrees
\[\sqrt{369}=19.2\] \[\sqrt{361}=19\]
