Write an equation of a line with an undefined slope and passing through the point (-2,4).
notice the only thing that will have an undefined slope is a straight line (up and down) like x = 1, so what straight line (x = ?) goes through (-2,4)?
y=mx+B M IS SLOPE
x=-2 is a line with undefined slope that goes thru your point.
@hmdp4 . That would be true, but she's looking for an undefined slope which has a x=? format
yes, the only line with undefined slope is x =
@eliassaab please dont just give answers, we want them to participate right?
ok..
i need help..
@zzr0ck3r enjoy participating!!!
its the rules. maybe read them?
@eliassaab
The easy way of doing this, but also the more time consuming method, is to plot the point and then draw out the vertical line that intersects with that point. It MUST be a vertical line because diagonal lines have a certain number for a slope and horizontal lines have a slope of 0. When you find that line that intersects with your point, you just find the formula of it by checking what point of it intersects with the x-axis.
ok
