Ok, thanks so the first amendment can be interpreted to include things like privacy another thought is that Voltaire a philosopher said "I dislike what you say, but I defend to the death your right to say it" does this help or did i confuse u more?

about the quote he is basically saying that the right of free speech, protect even unpopular speech like communism or anti-american protester and even flag-burning, no matter how much you hate that speech, it is still protected
