I know this is not math but i need help so if any 1 can help i would really appreacate it What is the best Latin translation for "They were ordered"? imperabant imperabantur imperabuntur imperant

if anyone can help i would luv it

I want to say it is A because. Since it is THEY it's third person. Althought it could be B because that is plural imperfect passive indicative However, it cant be C because that is future passive and this is a statement that has already happened D simply means command So I am going to say either A or B. I'm in Latin 2, but I'm not the greatest at it. Sorry,
