Napoleon -- Is it not strange that he recognized the importance of equality of all people on one hand, but on the other he crowned himself emperor? What do you think, was he really convinced about possibility of people being equal or he just played an diplomatic game with the majority of French citizens? To me it seems, he played the game after he recognized how much power he will gain by the support of not only the French army, but the common people. Let me know what is your opinion about this.
