Do remember that : \[\large{\frac{a^b}{a^c}=a^{b-c}}\]
hence \[\large{\frac{x^5}{x^12}=x^{5-12}=x^{-7}}\]

hence we get : \[\large{\frac{11}{9}\times x^{-7}}\] now : \[\large{a^{-n}=\frac{1}{a^n}}\] hence we get : \[\large{\frac{11}{9}\times \frac{1}{x^7}}\]
confused...are the exponents added together to make 99^17 or multiplied to make 99x^60?
