Geometry: Line QS bisects angle PQR. Solve for x and find the measure of angle PQR. (actual problem:) the measure of angle PQS=2x + 1; the measure of angle RQS = 4x - 15.

OpenStudy (noseboy908):

The problem I'm having is this: does the measure of angle PQR always = 180 degrees?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

why, did u get m<PQR = 180 is it ?

OpenStudy (noseboy908):

That actually isn't definite, that was simply a guess. But I want to know how to solve for x.

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

good :) that actually isnt definite, each situation it wud be different.. lets see hw to solve :)

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

begin wid drawing whats given

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

QS bisects \(\angle \) PQR can you draw this ?
