what would be another really good example other than this . An example of an equal interval variable is time in years. For example, the time between 1800 through 1900 and 1900 through 2000 is the same. Since time did not begin in the year zero, there is no true zero. This means that when humans reach the year 3000, human existence is not three times as long as when it was the year 1000. Though the numbers of years are equal time intervals, the actual numbers are arbitrary.
