I am suppose to find out the distance formula for A=(-2,9) B(3,5) so d=square root of (3-(-2))^2+ (5-9)^2 =square root of 25+16=square root of 41 how do I simplify 41 into radical form? I think since 41 goes to 1 as 41 so is it going to be 6.40

There is no radical form for sqrt(41).

square root of 41 is the simplest form

your answer is correct you can write root (41) as well as 6.40 which ever way you like.
