Lee is stating that even though we have all this great technology, many people take it for granted. People have become used to getting information so easily. They no longer have to read to get the information, simply turn on the television and get it wether it be news in the community or movies. Reading helps people's minds expande and view things more in depth. When we no longer have to read much, everything is given to use and life moves a lot faster without us fully comprehending everything that's happening.
