3rd degree, so the function has 3 zeroes, but roots are sometimes defined to be only real numbers, so it would depend on if the zeroes were real numbers to call them roots. Most use the terms "zeroes" "roots" "solutions" interchangeably. From what I've read, you call them zeroes if you're talking about a function, roots if you're talking about a polynomial, and solutions if you're talking about an equation.
