OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh sorry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Did you understand it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the graph is exactly how it appears in that picture

OpenStudy (anonymous):

δ does not equal 10/7 tried that answer already

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I just tried typing in 10/7 as the largest value of δ possible. It marked me incorrect.

OpenStudy (phi):

|x-2| can be interpreted as the distance x is from 2. the biggest distance you can move to the left is 2-10/7 or 4/7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4/7! once again thank you phi!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how you got the answer so fast i will never know

OpenStudy (phi):

I told you: |x-2| is the distance x is from 2. the furthest x can go to the left is 10/7 (4/7 away). the furthest x can go to the right is 10/3-2= 4/3 but we have to pick the smallest distance (to the left)

OpenStudy (phi):

because we must be able to go x-d up to x+d
