Nancy is in training for a cross country race. She has been training by running 3 miles each day. She will be increasing her running by this weekly formula, y = 2.5(1.1)x, where x represents the number of weeks and y represents the distance run. Will the distance she is running each day at 25 weeks be a reasonable amount?

Well, what do you think?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Its a yes or no question :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2.5(1.1)^25 = 27.0867649, so she essentially will be running a marathon each day. So no, but good try :)

Ah darn, but thank you =)
