4(x+2)>6

If: \[ 4(x+2)>6 \]Then: \[ x+2>\frac{6}{4}=\frac{3}{2} \]And subtracting from both sides: \[ x>\frac{3}{2}-2=\frac{3-4}{2}=-\frac{1}{2} \]So: \[ x>-\frac{1}{2} \]
