Can someone help me write a free verse poem. or give me an example of one

Ok, here is in my opinion of the greatest free verse poem ever

Here is an example that I wrote myself:

ONE WAY TICKET
He hides the pain
with a smile,
and he laughs out loud
to hide the tears.
No one knows
how bad things really are.
He tries,
but he can't
outrun his problems.
They always seem to find him.
He's scared.
The clouds in his eyes
block the sun.
Though he hides it well,
the feelings of
helplessness
takes over,
and those who care
are suddenly
his enemies.
He's alone,
and he's desperate.
He holds a bottle of booze
in one hand,
and a one way ticket
in the other.
He's leaving,
and he's never coming back.
