I kind of screwed up my test on this question, so any explanations and answers and comments would be greatly appreciated. I know my teacher did it, but I wasn't there to watch okay.

as u can see from the figure diameter = 2r is the hypotenuse of the right triangle with sides of square.
now can u use pythagoras and find sides ??
