see u just have to subtract the y and x and leave x^2 as it is in this eq. 1. arrange the equation [3x2-10x+2x-10y+7y] 2. subtract the possible one [-10x by 2x][-10y by 7y] 3. simplify is done as it has become a quadratic equation [3x2-8x-3y] hope u understand :)
