How do you factor this? I know the formula, but i couldnt seem to get the right answer http://i.imgur.com/cNCO7.png

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

= (2^3*s^3 - 5^3*t^3) = ((2*s)^3 - (5*t)^3)

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

now use the fact that (a^3-b^3) = (a-b)(a^2+ab+b^2). can you get it from here?

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

where a = 2s and b = 5t

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

make sense @strawhatrobbie ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so would the a^2 part be 4s^2

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@zzr0ck3r well, is the the answer (2s-5t)(4s^2+10st+25t^2)
