stereotype means judging someone based on what you see and not trying to get to know people first

A stereotype is the wide-held belief about a person or a group of people, which is almost always oversimplified. Examples of stereotypes: White men can't jump. Black men are well endowed. All Asians know Kung Fu. All Italians are members of the MOB. All Muslims are terrorists. All women like to shop. Black people like fried chicken. White people are racists. All Mexicans are illegal.
