A hot iron horseshoe (mass=0.40kg), just forged , is dropped into 1.35 L of water in a 0.30-kg? iron pot initially at 20.0°C. The final equilibrium temperature is 25.0°C. cFe= 450J/kg.ºC and cwater = 4186 J/kg. ºC 1 L of water has a mass of 1 kg. Hint: The heat lost by the horseshoe must be equal to the heat gained by the iron pot and the water. Determine a) the heat gained by the iron pot, b) the heat gained by the water, and c) the initial temperature of the hot horseshoe. Please help, as I'm not sure if the answers I got are correct! Thanks
