The triangle formed by points A(1,1) , B(0,0) , C(1,0) is transfromed to the triangle formed by the points A'(3,1), B'(0,0) and C'(1,0), Describe the transformation and give an appropriate transformation matrix. Attempted solution: I think its a shear parallel to the x-axis with a scale factor of 3. I am not really sure how do i find the Matrix (lets call it Matrix X) that transforms Triangle ABC to A'B'C cause i can't find the inverse of the matrix for points ABC as it is not a square matrix... Help please~
