How the functions of a simple calculator can be performed using digital arithmetic circuits? With keeping in mind the accuracy and the time to compute it.

There is a basic unit called Flip-flop. Another one is Adder. The last one is SHift-by-one-place. These 3 operations can produce any arithmetic on binary numbers
