How do I find the domain an range using a graph that looks like a W ?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

domain is how far the W spreads out; the range is the lowest part of the W to the highest part of it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would I just write it in normal parentheses or would I have to write it with the brackets

OpenStudy (amistre64):

think of how a bracket looks; it is an equal sign connected by a bar in set notation then, all endpoint that can be "equal to" are wrapped in an equal sign, all others are not

OpenStudy (amistre64):

thats just an example :)
