some one PLEASE HELP ME I REALLY NEED THE AWNSER:)!!!!!!! A trapezoid is drawn on a grid with vertices at P(-5, 7), Q(-2, 7), R(2, 3), and S(-8, 3) . Trapezoid UVWX will be drawn similar to Trapezoid PQRS with side PQ corresponding to side UV. The point (-2, -1) will be the location of vertex U and point (7, -1) will be the location of point V. What will be the coordinates of vertex X? Show all your work or explain your reasoning

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

i think you should begin by drawing trapezoid on xy grid , do you have geogebra ? if not you can sketch it on a piece of paper

OK once i do that then what?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

on graph paper its pretty simple to do with a straight edge. Just line up corresponding points to determine where the focal point is; then draw lines from the focal point thru the other vertexes
