(PLEASE HELP!!!!) Part I: Create two triangles that are NOT similar. Label your triangles and write the corresponding similarity statement. Describe, using complete sentences, the side lengths of the two triangles you created. Part II: Explain, using complete sentences, why these triangles are NOT similar. Note: The sides of the triangles don’t need to be measured; they can be made up as long as the two triangles are NOT similar. Also, the triangles don’t need to be submitted, just the triangle names and side lengths.
Two triangles are similar if the corresponding angle measurements are similar. For example, ABC is similar to DEF if the measurement of angle D equals the measurement of angle A, angle E=angle B, and angle D=angle C.
@Kuromeru But how would I make one that is not similar?
@Kuromeru And for some reason it says to describe lengths
To make 2 triangles not similar, you just have to make sure that the corresponding angles are not the same. http://www.clarku.edu/~djoyce/trig/oblique.html This link explains the trigonometry of oblique (non-right) triangles, the relationship between side length and angle measurement.
