300/2.92 = speed in ft/sec divide your answer by 5280 to get miles per second ( 1 mile = 5280 feet) then multiply this last answer by 3600 to get mph ( 1 hour = 3600 secs)
@cwrw238, I got 70.049808, Does that look right? So Would I say the Cheeta is running 70 mph?
yes - funny i was reading somewhere the other day that it can reach 80 mph for short periods - a fast cat!!
