What would be a good introduction sentence for starting an essay on running?

Start with something that catches the readers attention Like "Heart racing, I sprinted across the track like a cheetah chasing its prey" something like that! :] u don't necessarily have to start with a simile just something that will grab ur audience :}}} good luck!

Thanks, but I want to start out with the start of the race, not jump into the middle. This is because I have an idea for a "Playing with Reality: Dream Narrative" essay. In it, we are supposed to play with an aspect of "reality" and alter space, time, or character descriptions in order to add a fantastical element to your narrative.
