Okay...what is the range and domain of this function? y=6/2x-1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it \(y=\frac{6}{2x-1}\) ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if it is range is all real numbers except 0, because a fraction is only zero if the numerator is zero, and here your numerator is 6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay, then x can't be 1/2. but it also cant be 1 right? My options only exclude 1/2 for the domain.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No, it should only exclude 1/2. Substitute 1 in. 2(1)-1 in the denominator = 1, so that's perfectly fine :)

Okay awesome. :) Thanks
