say you invest X as the amount at 11% then remaining amount available for investmetn is 13000-x
use I = pnr/100 , where 11, 1, Interest =I= 1480, and p=amount =x form an equation
form 2 equations, in second equation the amount or principal is 13000-x
rate of interest = 12, and remeber the total interset is 1480 (i.e. combined intesrest at 11 and 12 percent_
