Find the x- and y-intercepts. 3x - 4y = 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait

OpenStudy (adunb8):

i think if you want to look for x you set y = 0 and vice versa ex: 3x-4(0) =2 so x= 2/3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you plug in zero for each x and y?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-1/2 is y

hartnn (hartnn):

u are correct for both , good work :)

hartnn (hartnn):

its exactly as u said, set x=0 to find y-intercept set y=0 to find x-intercept

thanks!!
