An arrow is shot vertically upward and then 2.00s later passes the top of a tree 40.0m high. How much longer will the arrow travel upward? and how high will it go?

use the kinematics equations
treat the initial position as zero, the final position as 40.0 m, the beginning velocity as v initial, the acceleration as -9.8 and the change in time as (t final- t initial) which is (2.0-0)
