I got a problem. Question:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How many terms of the geometric series 2+(1/3)+(1/18)+(1/108)..... must be taken for its sum to differ from its sum to infinity by less than 10^(-5)?

hartnn (hartnn):

could u find sum to infinity ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah its a / (1-r).

hartnn (hartnn):

so now difference is 10^(-5) so subtract 10^(-5)from that sum

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@hartnn Sum to infiniy = 12/5.
