anytime :)

\[\frac{ (x + 20) }{2 } = 3x\]

hartnn (hartnn):

multiply 2 on both sides.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2 times x = 2x and 2 x 20 = 40 and 2 x 3 = 6

hartnn (hartnn):

Don't forget there is 2 in denominator. u can just cancel the 2 u multiplied with the denominator's 2 so on left side u have x+20 and right side u have 6x ok with this?
