Is time the x-axis? if so, at A the line would be on the x-axis (position does not change). At B, it would start to curve upwards, as the object is increasing in position at an increasingly faster rate. At C, the line would continue to rise, but now as a straight line. This is because the subject isn't moving faster or slower throughout C. At D, it would begin to curve lower, without actually going down, since the subject is still increasing in distance. At E, there would be a downward curve because the subject is getting increasingly slower. At F, there would be a straight downward line, since the distance from the subject is decreasing at a constant rate.
