Suppose that an empty 50mL graduated cylinder weighs 37.801g. After an unknown solid is added, the graduated cylinder and its contents weigh 45.500g. Calculate the density of the unknown(d(water)=0.998 g/mL) if upon addition of this solid and enough water to cover the solid the graduated cylinder and its contents weigh 46.751g and the total volume of the contents is 25.7mL.
