\[\frac{ (x + 4) }{ 3} = 2\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Are you able to retype without using equation editor, it doesn't seem to load for me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(x + 4) over 3 = 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(x+4)/3 = 2 Step 1. Get rid of the denominator; multiply both sides by 3. x+4 = 6 Step 2. Isolate the variable x; subtract 4 from each side. x = 2
