What are the measures of angle_EBG and angle_EBC? Classify each angle as acute, right, obtuse, or straight.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@psi9epsilon or @TheMind you guys wre the most help on teaching me.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

EBC = 105 degrees EBG = 50 degress You tell me if they are acute, obtuse, or right angles.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Are you sure those are the right degrees cause I don't know how to tell if they are or not how did you figure that out?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Because if you look at the attachment that I posted above none of the answer's say 50 degrees they all range between 45-55 but the 100 is correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

My bad. EBG = 45 degrees. You can find that out by looking at line E which is at the 100 mark. Then line G is at the 55 mark. Just subtract 100 with 55 and you get 45.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you !!! I have one more if you don't mind?(:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sure. I will see what I can do. Just tag me in the question.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If mangle_AOC= 85°, mangle_BOC = 2x + 10, and mangle_AOB = 4x – 15, find the degree measure of angle_BOCand angle_AOB. The diagram is not to scale.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Brybro

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For this you just add the angles of AOB and BOC together. 4x -15 + 2x + 10 = 85 Try to finish it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got x=15?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yep. Very good. Now take the two separate equations and plug 15 into x.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for BOC= 40 degrees and for AOB=45 degrees is what I got?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Your correct. Nice job.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you !!

No problem. Any time
