What are the complex roots of x^3 + 8 = 0?

OpenStudy (amtran_bus):

Find the common factors of your leading coeff. (x) and the constant (8) For x, it it simply 1. For 8, it is 1,2,4,8. Put the constant/leading coeff....that is, 1/1, 2/1, 4/1, 8/1. However, it is plus and minus, so not only those numbers but negative 1,2,4,8. Then, pick one of the numbers, synthetically divide and see if you get a remainder of 0.

If you know how to do decarte's rule of signs it will help you pick which ones will work.
