What dose a Subset Mean?
when you have a set there is one group of things, therefore a subset is when you make the one group into two groups. ex: there is a group of different types of shoes, that is a set. subset: title of subset: laces. part the group in two by having one group called shoes with laces, while the other one is called shoes without laces.
well mathematically, a subset denotes a set in which all of its data points are a part of the parent set.
so a set is , a set where each member of the set is a member of a larger set
for example the set [ 1, 2, 3, 4] is the parent set of [2,3]. and [2,3] is a subset of the parent set [ 1, 2, 3, 4]
So the defnition of a set is this? a set where each member of the set is a member of a larger set
you can write it how you like, as long as you get across the main point. yes that seems rather barren but acceptable..
