Numbers divisible by 3 from 1-21? 3 is divisible by 3 because it equals a whole number(1). 6/3=2 (Also a whole number). 9/3=3... etc. Better?

∩ means intersection which also means that the numbers in that set MUST be in the 2 sets surrounding it.
It basically means that the numbers in the intersection of the sets must be in BOTH sets.
So if A={2,4,6,7} and B={3,4,5,6}, A∩B would be {4,6} because 4 and 6 are in both sets A and B

there is supossed to be a " U" smble between the A and b on the last sentence and it stated A and B
